WingChun Instructor

My name is Mark Derby and I have been training WingChun under Grandmaster Klaus Brand for over 14 years and teaching WingChun for more than 10 years.

I started training WingChun in 2007, gaining my Practitioner level in 2011 and 1st Technician degree in 2013.

I started teaching WingChun in 2010 when I was awarded Assistant Instructor at the Bromley Academy, and then in 2015, with fellow instructor Colin Dawes, opened the Tonbridge Academy. I was proudly awarded the title of 'Sihing' by Grandmaster Klaus Brand in 2016.
